Why we created Oriqle
We created Oriqle because we saw the same problem over and over again.
Apartment investors were making some of the largest financial decisions of their lives using information scattered across spreadsheets, broker packages, websites, emails, and multiple disconnected tools. Even experienced investors could spend hours gathering information just to answer a simple question:
Is this actually a good deal?
And for newer investors, knowing what questions to ask in the first place could be even more difficult.
Oriqle was built to simplify that process.
We wanted to create one platform that brings together the information and tools an investor needs to evaluate an apartment opportunity, from initial deal screening and market analysis to underwriting, operating assumptions, risk considerations, financing, and potential returns.
But Oriqle was never intended to simply produce a number.
A spreadsheet can calculate a return. What matters is understanding the assumptions behind that return.
That is why Oriqle is designed to help investors look deeper into a deal, challenge assumptions, identify potential risks, compare scenarios, and better understand what has to happen for an investment to perform as expected.
Our experience comes from working in and around real estate transactions, owning investment property ourselves, and spending years alongside multifamily owners, operators, lenders, brokers, and investors. We took the things we have learned from evaluating real deals and built them into a platform that investors can use every day.
Our goal with Oriqle is simple: give apartment investors better information, better tools, and a better process for making one of the most important decisions in real estate — what to buy and what to pass on.
Clinton Orr
Co-Founder, OriqleClinton Orr is a real estate investor and insurance professional with more than 15 years of experience working alongside real estate owners, operators, lenders, and investors across the country.
Clinton began investing in real estate at the age of 19 and continues to own and manage investment properties today. Professionally, he has built his career specializing in multifamily real estate, helping investors evaluate and manage the insurance and risk components of apartment acquisitions and ownership.
Through that experience, Clinton has been involved with thousands of multifamily properties and transactions, giving him a unique perspective into the numbers, assumptions, risks, and real-world variables that can ultimately impact an investment.
That experience helped shape Oriqle.
Oriqle was created to give apartment investors a more complete way to analyze potential acquisitions by bringing underwriting, market data, operating assumptions, risk analysis, and investment metrics together in one platform.
Clinton's goal in helping develop Oriqle was simple: build the kind of tool he would want to use when evaluating a real estate investment with his own money.
Oriqle is designed to help investors better understand a deal, identify potential risks, test assumptions, and make more informed investment decisions before committing capital.
Build the kind of tool he would want to use when evaluating a real estate investment with his own money.
